Introduction

EduCare is a programme subsidized by Airport Authority Hong Kong and implemented by Playtao Education. Apart from providing after-school tutorials to students (P.1-P.6) whose parents are employed at Hong Kong International Airport (“HKIA”), the programme also aims to look after students’ all-round development and family needs which could help in boosting students’ self-confidence, relieving the burden of parents in taking care of children and establishing healthier family relationships.

Target Group

P.1 – P.6 students from any one of the designated primary schools in Tung Chung (whose parents/legal guardians must be in employment with a company located/providing services at HKIA)

Programme Features

  1. After-school tutorial support for students
  2. Exposure programmes to broaden the horizon of students
  3. Workshops for parents on parenting skills

Fee

$10 per day

Application Notes

  1. The programme application is still open after the commencement of the school term (depending on available quota and class arrangements);
  2. In the event of over-subscription, lots will be drawn to determine the successful applicants;
  3. Each successful applicant will receive an admission notice and a payment notice;
  4. Applicant must notify Playtao in writing if he/she leaves the company during the programme;
  5. If the applicant leaves a company located/providing services at HKIA after being admitted into the programme, his/her child will no longer be eligible to participate in the EduCare programme; and
  6. Unsuccessful applications will be put on a waiting list until further notice.
